Overall, the street photography class was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience. The small group size, knowledgeable instructor, and hands-on approach made it a worthwhile investment. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in exploring the exciting world of street photography.

As part of my final project as a fourth-year photography major, I chose to explore and document Calgary?s sculptures, which embody the history and heritage of its people and landscape. One of the highlights of my work is By the Banks of the Bow, one of the largest sculptural artworks in North America. To enhance the visual impact of the image, I utilized Photoshop, particularly to create a dramatic sky that seamlessly complements the dynamism of the horses and the cowboy. This piece celebrate

I have been visualizing taking completely empty street of downtown Calgary but realized that's impossible even on Sunday morning. Always people and cars on the street. I've been waiting and waiting to find the right time to take the picture with Olympus OM2n loaded with Ilford XP super 400 BW film. I may try again.

I uploaded an image that was for social media not very good quality. Here is a better quality image. I had seen photos of Morant's Curve and it was something I wanted to capture. I had gone in the summertime a year ago and as beautiful as it was, something was missing, SNOW. Now I just had to wait, I know what I wanted, a Panoramic photo with a train on the curve. After a bunch of snow in Nov and I had time off. I headed to Morant?s Curve for sunrise, hoping to get some cool colours and clou

Majestic mountains, pristine lakes, meandering rivers, and cascading waterfalls hold a particular allure as photographic subjects to me. Fortunately, Canada's abundant natural beauty provides ample opportunities to capture these elements. Last year, I encountered this breathtaking turquoise glacial lake nestled within the majestic Rocky Mountains. The Moraine Lake. The ser

The photo was taken at Emsworth, a very picturesque harbour on the south coast of England. The sea was incredibly calm making it like a mirror, and the morning light was soft and warm in colour. I was stood on the harbour wall and framed the shot to include the sunken boat to give it scale and perspective.
